12/11/13 Eighteen year old Ali Rose Dimmitt who was scheduled to perform at Miller’s Senior Living Community on December 17th has had to change the date of her performance because of a death in her family.  She will now be appearing at Miller’s on Friday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m.   Ali Rose is the daughter of Steve and Gail Dimmitt of Argos and has been studying music since an early age.

Ali Rose has studied with area music instructors including Clara Wooley, Liza Woolever, Judy Hall and in 2009 she attended fiddle camp where she studied under the tutelage of Mark O’Conner.  She has performed with the South Bend Youth Symphony and the Marshall County Church Orchestra. Ali Rose plays piano, classical violin, fiddle tunes and is also a vocalist. 

Ali Rose is learning all sides of the music business as this past summer she attended classes in Ohio where she became certified in Audio Engineering.  In January she will begin classes at IUSB and later move on to Middle Tennessee State University for further education.

Ali Rose will perform at Miller’s on Friday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m.  The public is invited to attend her free concert which will consist of a variety of vocal and instrumental music.  Miller’s is located at 625 Oakhill Ave. in Plymouth.  For further information call 574-936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg.
