Thursday evening, April 25th, at approximately 11:50 p.m., an officer from the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation near the intersection of Oak Drive and U.S. 30. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Abdullo Kimsanboyev, 22 years old from Chicago. Kimsanboyev was determined to have never obtained a driver’s license and was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

On the morning of Friday, April 26th at approximately 2:30, a Plymouth Police Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling more than 80 MPH in a posted 50 MPH zone on U.S. 30 near Oak Drive.  Officers were able to catch up to the vehicle on U.S. 30 east of Michigan Street where the driver of the vehicle was identified as Faiyaz Mohammed, 25 years old of Chicago.  Mohammed was determined to have never obtained a driver’s license and was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
