12/11/12 On Friday, December 7th at 2:04 AM Plymouth Police Officer Tim Taberski responded to the Plymouth Kroger’s in reference to two female shoplifters.  Arriving he took 18 year old Amanda Whitt and 19 year old Katlynn E. Morgan of Plymouth into custody for theft.  They were transported to the Marshall County Jail where Amanda L. Whitt was booked in on a $3,005 and Katlynn E. Morgan was booked in on a $1,505 bond.

Later Friday evening at 10 PM Officer Steve DeLee responded to a 911 call of a domestic altercation in progress at 619 West Garro Street.  Arriving at the scene it was determined that a verbal argument had occurred between 42 year old Jennifer Miller of Plymouth and her mother.   The mother told the officer she wanted Miller to leave the house immediately and officers assisted in removing Miller from the residence. A short time later Jennifer Miller returned back to the location and gained entry through the back door of the residence.   She was witnessed coming out the front door with the mother and taken into custody by officers for criminal trespass.  Officer DeLee transported her to the County Jail where she was held on a $755 bond.

On Saturday, December 8th at 12:16 AM Officer Paul Stamper responded to Quick’s Lanes at 1024 West Jefferson Street in reference to a fight in progress.  Officer Stamper was advised by a witness that the fight didn’t get physical.   32 year old Tommy G. Elsea of Bourbon was the aggressor in the verbal altercation.  He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to the Jail where he was held on a $505 bond.

On Sunday, December 9th at 1:06 AM Officer Stamper conducted a traffic stop at Michigan and Monroe Streets.  The driver, 18 year old Christopher P. Carroll of South Whitley on North Michigan Street and Monroe Street was found to have an outstanding warrant through Kosciusko County for Dealing, delivering, and or manufacturing methamphetamine.  Mr. Carroll was taken into custody and held without bond at the Marshall County Jail.

A short time later at 2:13 AM Sunday morning Officer Wally Derifield initiated a traffic stop at Dickson and South Michigan Streets on 19 year old Devin Johnson of Kokomo.  During the investigation it was revealed that Mr. Johnson was driving while suspended with a prior charge.  He was taken into custody and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a $755 bond.

At 4:57 PM Sunday afternoon Officer Gary Cleveland responded to the Plymouth Wal-Mart in reference to a male subject who was witnessed stealing lithium batteries, known as a key ingredient for meth.   The individual was detained by force after he attempted to flee Wal-Mart loss prevention personal.   39 year old Charles Salach of Plymouth was taken into custody on a theft charge and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $3,005 bond.
