09/17/12 Republican Nominee for District 17 Indiana State Representative came to visit the Culver Town Council meeting on Tuesday, September 11. The nominee is running unopposed and short of something catastrophic will be District 17’s State Representative. When asked about why he had come to the meeting, Mr. Harmon responded “I want to update myself on Culver politics and meet some folks to let them know I am accessible.” Tim Harmon resides and owns business’s in the Bremen area and has also lived and gone to school in Plymouth. Mr. Harmon was also asked about his focus for his first year as District 17 representative to which he responded, “I have always been concerned about the scope and the size of government and the budget. I also think the first year will be a learning experience.”
