Firefighters Fundraiser for Bourbon Summerfest Fireworks Sunday, July 24th

The Bourbon Fire Department will be raising funds this next Sunday, July 24^th for the fireworks during Summer Fest.

The community is invited to gather at 6 p.m. at the uptown Bourbon Gazebo Park.  There will be entertainment, food, friends, and fun.

Quentin Flagg and the Kings Way singers will entertain along with Miss Raye “D” and Raina.

The firefighters will offer free hotdogs with drinks.

Bring a chair and enjoy the evening with the Bourbon Fire Department as they accept donations for this year’s fireworks display during Summer Fest.

Chad Step, Fire Chief reminded the town board that they donated $500 toward the fireworks, and he said they’ve had two other generous donations.  He’s hoping the fundraiser on Sunday, July 24^th will cover the rest of their expense. 

Bourbon Summerfest is held each year during the second weekend in August. Booths of various arts and crafts along with delicious foods are lined up for the public to enjoy. There is a talent show, a car show, live entertainment, fireworks and much more.
