Nadine Oliver of the Plymouth Beta Delta Chapter (XII) has been appointed to the Scholarship Committee for Tri Kappa on the State level. The council of Tri Kappa recently made the appointment for a two-year term.
Nadine Oliver as a State Scholarship Committee member will have the following duties: facilitate the Tri Kappa Scholarship process in her province and work closely with the Chapter Scholarship Chairs, review Academic Scholarship Applications from two other provinces, review State Key Scholarships, attend meetings to select recipients for these scholarships.
Prior to this state position Nadine had served her local Beta Delta Chapter as Vice-President: 2011-2013, President: 2013-2015, and held an Executive Board position: 2015-2017. Nadine served at state level on the Nominating Committee: 2015-2017.
Tri Kappa is a statewide philanthropic organization. Each year the local chapters join with the State organization to contribute approximately $1.5 million to Indiana charities and students. $500,000 in scholarships are given every year. Since 1901, Tri Kappa members have donated untold hours and millions of dollars to projects in the state of Indiana. The main work of each chapter is to conduct special projects locally to support each of our three goals: Charity, Culture, and Education.
