heartlandgallary_chris_winner2016_1Heartland Artists Gallery announces the winners to the Annual Christmas Tree Raffle.

Tickets were sold in November and early December at the Gallery.

The winning tickets were drawn at the Heartland Open House on Saturday, Dec. 3rd.

Joan and Michael Casey won the 5’ tree with base, fully lit, already decorated and ready to plug in at their home.

Gloria Seitz won the evergreen swag also lit and decorated. The theme for the artists’ decorations and ornaments was ‘Homespun Christmas’ which was a touch of primitive, country and a representation of nature’s best. Members of Heartland Artists Gallery created ornaments from the media they typically work in, ex. snow scenes painted on mini canvases, sewn felt ornaments, pottery, etc. Past themes have included: Musical, Candy Land, Nature’s Best. Next year the theme will be Contemporary – Black and White.
