Miller's_Mickey Mouse Bennett Zehr 2018Mickey Mouse turned 90 years old this week and it gave the residents at Miller’s Assisted Living an opportunity to have a celebration.  Residents were invited to the Oak Hill café by special invitation where they were treated to party punch and cake and ice cream.  As Activity Director Cindy Flagg began to share some Mickey trivia the residents and guests were surprised to see Mickey Mouse walk through the front door all the way from Florida.  Mickey did say the Indiana weather was a bit cold for him but he was certainly happy to be celebrating his 90th birthday will all his Plymouth Miller’s friends.  Mickey was escorted by volunteer Becky Hooley as he greeted each resident and guest personally and passed out party favors.  Miller’s Marketing Director, Anna Corbett and Volunteer Kathy Ambrose had their Mickey Mouse collectibles on display for all to see.  Activity Director took a picture of each person present using her telephone App that made each person appear to have Mickey Mouse ears and a big bow tie.  The oldest person present, Mary Fishburn was ten years older than Mickey. Eight month old Bennett Zehr of Bremen was the youngest person present.  He is the son of Miller’s Campus Administrator Bryan Zehr and his wife Katie.
