MugShot_Melody FarnsworthA call to the Marshall County Dispatch Center on Saturday July 8, ended with a North Liberty woman being lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. Saturday the dispatch center received a report of a vehicle that had hit a parked car in the parking lot of the LaPaz Cafe.  An officer with the Marshall County Police Department responded and located 32 year old Melody Farnsworth of North Liberty passed out behind the wheel.

Farnsworth was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and taken into custody.   A certified chemical test showed that she had a blood alcohol content of .15% or more.  Farnsworth was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for OWI Endangering a Person, OWI with a BAC .15% or more, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
