On Saturday January 30, at approximately 2:11 a.m. an officer with the Marshall County Police Department arrested two individuals from Valparaiso following a traffic stop on US 31 near 9A Road. 18 year old Jeremy Owens was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance.
A passenger in the vehicle, 22 year old Jose Canchola was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance.
Canchola was held on a $755 cash bond while Owens was held on a $1,505 cash bond.
