ArrestedMonday afternoon about 3:15 Plymouth Police Officer Stuart Krynock conducted a traffic stop at Oak Drive and US 30.  The driver, 32 year old Ryan Jay Beem of Walkerton was found to be driving on a suspended license with a prior charge.

Mr. Beem was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for driving while suspended with a prior charge.  He was held on a $755 cash charge and released about 7:45 that evening.

Also on Monday, 43 year old Joey A. Maxon of Culver called to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant from Pulaski County for sexual misconduct with a minor.

Plymouth Officer Ben McIntyre located Mr. Maxon at the Plymouth Wal-Mart and took him in to custody and held him until Pulaski County could pick him up.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
