Miller's_WDA_2Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living spent Tuesday afternoon volunteering their time at Washington Discovery Academy.  Invited to the school by Instructional Coach Lauren Cooper, the volunteers were asked to spend time with third graders during their “Success Time”.

MIller's_WDA_1The volunteers spent time with the students playing board games getting to know each other.  Cooper explained it is the intention that this interaction with older adults will help the students with their speaking and social skills.
