On Thursday morning at 4:07 the Marshall County 9-1-1 advised the Plymouth Police Department of a single vehicle accident on State Road 17 near the hospital.
Plymouth Police arrived on the scene where the cemetery is on the curve and found a black, H3 Hummer. It was obvious that the vehicle missed the curve and crashed through the chain-link fence of the cemetery. It came to rest wedged between two trees. The Hummer was found unoccupied and the keys has been removed.
The registered owners of the vehicle were contacted by Plymouth Police at their residence at 317 Lynn Avenue. They advised officers that the vehicle had been stolen.
The case remains under investigation.
