Memorial Hospital NICUEarlier this month the Plymouth Park Board approved the request of Steve and Jami Holm for free used of the Freyman Shelter on November 8th for their annual “Run Baby Baby Run” fundraiser for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Their 10 year old twin boys, Fitzgerald and Kavanaugh were born 10 weeks premature and spend almost 3 month in the NICU at Memorial Hospital. Run Baby Baby Run is a 5K run/walk and a 10 K run on the trails and in Centennial Park. The start/finish line will be near the Freyman Shelter. Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th with the 10K beginning at 9 a.m. and the 5K at 9:05. Pre-registration is $20 while the day of the race it will be $25.
