10/28/11 A Ghost Walk will be held in the Marshall County Museum this Saturday, October 29th beginning at 7:00 p.m. Interpreters will assume the persona of various Marshall County residents circa 1836 – 1986 and tell tales about their lives, careers, and what it was like living in the county as it grew from a wilderness to the modern community we know today.
Come and hear the ghostly stories of Homer who haunted the Hayloft and Eurettie Artz who haunted a house on South Michigan inPlymouth. Learn about pioneer and historian Daniel McDonald; Civil War soldier and prisoner, James M. Gibson, Ecker Trucking company owner Faith Shearer, early pioneer James Greer, Brightside owner Julia Work and her friend Elizabeth Snyder, circuit-rider minister Farnsworth, and others. To hear all the stories will take approximately an hour. Visitors are encouraged to start the tour between 7 and 7:30.
Tickets are $5 and children 5 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum on123 N. Michigan St.,Plymouthor from any of the Trustees of the Marshall County Historical Society.
