09/19/11 The Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioners will meet Monday morning.

The Drainage Board is scheduled to meet at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  The agenda includes the retention pond ownership and maintenance for Del Wenzel and the Southpointe Subdivision.

The City of Plymouth will be at the table to discuss the South Gateway Improvement Project which includes the demolition of the Cook/Dimmit building that sits on the County’s easement for the Yellow River.

The Drainage Board will conduct a public hearing on the vacation request of Thomas Lowry and Marvin Houin will discuss an issue at Lake of the Woods.

The County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Their agenda includes County Clerk, Julie Fox who will discuss precincts for the municipal elections and Sheriff Chamberlin will request pre-payment for a vehicle purchase.  Other agenda items include Neal Haeck Superintendent of the County Highway Department, Jeff Million with an update on the 13th Road Bridge replacement project that is way over due, the quarterly update from the county’s insurance providers, the County Attorney’s report and County Auditor’s report.

Both meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
