If you’ve ever wanted to attend a High Tea at Downtown Abbey, be sure not to miss the Ladies’ Tea and Fashion Show on Sunday, May 24 at 2:00 PM in the Penske building at the Culver Woodcraft Camp.
You’ve seen fashion week in New York, get ready for fashion weekend in Culver. The show will feature the latest fashions and accessories available from various Culver stores including: Civvies, Diva, Fisher & Company Clothiers, and It’s YOU!, as well as fashion from Bangles in Valparaiso. On the occasion of the Culver-Union Township Public Library’s centennial celebration of their Carnegie building, models will also feature selected fashions from the last 100 years. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Library’s Carnegie Fund.
This multi-generational event will treat attendees’ taste buds with homemade petit fours and cucumber sandwiches. Feel free to pull out your hats or fascinators and gloves, and get excited to celebrate the best of this season’s fashion and reminisce over trends gone by. Bring your daughters, bring your granddaughters, this will be a tea party all will enjoy!
