OXFORD, IN – Benton Central High School graduate Alexis Etter recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play women’s golf at Ancilla College.
Etter is a four year varsity golf recipient from Benton Central high school where she was named Hoosier Conference All Conference and was a two year regional qualifier. She is also the second generation of her family, her mother being first, to have Coach Eric Wiley as her varsity golf coach.
Coach Wiley remarked on Etter’s signing, “Alexis has been a four year letter winner for Benton Central. She is a very steady performer us. Alexis has a lot of natural talent that hopefully she can develop more at the college level. I am very proud to see her advance to the next level of her golfing career.”
“I knew Ancilla was the right choice for me because it was small and close to home,” said Etter.
Ancilla College women’s golf head coach Marc Green commented “We are very excited to have such a good golfer and excellent young lady come to Ancilla. Alexis works hard to get better and we are hoping for big things out of her at Ancilla.”
Alexis Etter is the daughter of Kevin Etter and Jessica Etter. During her time at Ancilla, Alexis plans to work toward her Associates Degree in Sciences.
