Monday night at Plymouth Country Club the hosts dominated both the Varsity and JV matches over South Bend Riley and LaPorte.  The Plymouth Varsity improves to 6-1 and the JV stays perfect 6-0.

The Varsity was lead by Junior Ben Schenk who fired a one-over par 37.  Ben was our team medalist on Saturday and has continued his solid and steady play.  After bogeying his second and third holes he strung together five pars before making birdie on his final hole.

Another solid round was turned in by junior Reis Yoder. Through seven holes of play Reis was two over par.  On #15 several bad shots resulted in a horrific 11.  Showing great resolve Reis hit a decent tee shot on 16 where he proceeded to chip in for birdie. On 17 Reis finished his round with a par to card a 44.

Seniors Evan Parkhurst (43) and Nate Kolter (39) turned in solid performances.  Freshmen Micah Calhoun made his first varsity start shooting 47.

The JV was lead by Freshmen Grant Clady who turned in a personal best round of 40. Grant’s round featured nothing worse than a bogey highlighted by a birdie on 12.  Sophomore Roger Karr (41) continued his fine play shooting his best 9 hole score of the season.  Freshman Dylan Johnson (46) also turned in his season best score.

Our JV’s has shown depth and promise this season, tonight was no different as our team score was competitive with the varsity team scores.

Most impressive was our C team score.  Our C team defeated both Laporte and Riley JV squads

JV & C scores: 10 – Curtis Smith 459 – Hudson Yoder 46 10 – Ricky Cooper 4912 – Austin Kriss 519 – Trevor Danielson 539 – Zach Moser 569 – Tyler Newton 66

Tuesday the Varsity travels to Warsaw to play in the Joe Harris Invitational at Rozella Ford.
