ANNUAL YOU CAN LEND A HAND™ COUPON BOOK FUNDRAISER BEGINS

  02/04/14 The annual YOU CAN LEND A HAND fundraiser kicked off its coupon book sale on Friday, January 31^st.   The campaign serves as one of the main fundraising efforts for Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Wayne – South Bend.   This is the 32^nd year of the YOU CAN LEND A HAND program sponsored by Quality Dining, Inc. 

Catholic school students at St. Michael in Plymouth will sell coupon books for $3 through February 28, 2014. The YOU CAN LEND A HAND coupon book contains free items from BURGER KING^®, Chili’s^® and Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen^®  restaurants and offers for the South Bend Silver Hawks™, Compton Family Ice Arena and the Kroc Community Center. Each book has 18 coupons and is valued at over $95.

The YOU CAN LEND A HAND program has raised over $9.3 million for Catholic schools in Indiana and Southwest Michigan since its launch in 1982.  The past fundraising profits have been used to enhance the educational environment of the participating schools. These upgrades have included upgrades to classroom and playground equipment, computer software, tuition assistance, library books and capital improvements.
