01/07/11 Just a reminder that the fifth annual adult reading program is in full swing at the Plymouth Public Library.  Each participant can sign up in person at the Adult Circulation Desk or on the Plymouth Public Library’s website (www.plymouth.lib.in.us) to become a “Frosty Reader”.  Everyone chooses a prize from our “prize cart” just for signing up!  (PLAC or reciprocal borrowers are also welcome, but will need to pay a $5.00 fee).

A short book review for each book read or listened to, is required to be eligible for the weekly prize drawing.  There will be 2 prizes each week:  A $10 Gift Card from Martin’s Super Market and a $10 Gift Card from City Center News and Books. The drawing box will be emptied after each weekly drawing, so you have to keep reading and reviewing, to keep winning!  Some of the book reviews will be displayed on the book-ends in front of fiction to share with other patrons.  Reviews may be turned in at the adult circulation desk through March.

They’ll will “wrap up” the program on Thursday, April 14, 2011 with an open house for all participants.  Refreshments will be served and door prizes given.  The Open House will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  At that time, they will award special prizes to our Top Three Readers and our Top Three Posted Reviewers.
