01/22/13 1st Source Bank has donated $5,000 to the Starke County Youth Club toward its afterschool and summer program. Connie Lemler, 1st Source Regional President, and Judy Caudill, Manager of the 1st Source Banking Center in Knox, presented the donation to Irene Szakonyi, Executive Director of the Starke County Youth Club.

The Starke County Youth Club provides a safe, caring and educational environment for more than 600 students each year in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The donation from 1st Source will help the club engage the students in academic, social, recreational and community endeavors.

“1st Source recognizes the positive impact that the Starke County Youth Club has on the lives of so many children,” said Caudill. “We’re pleased to make this donation to assist with the afterschool and summer program.
