01/10/13 Last month on December 27th about 1 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Nick Young was on routine patrol and located an unlocked at the concession stand at the softball field in Packard Woods. The police department contacted Park Superintendent Mike Hite was called and responded to the location.
When they went inside they found that the door had been kicked in and the unknown suspects had trashed the concession stand. When they went up stairs they found what appeared to be a meth lab.
Officer Spaid from the UNIT responded and the State Police Meth Lab team was called to removed the contamination.
Superintendent Hite said the material in the concession stand was removed and bagged. In the spring they will wash down the inside and then seal the walls.
