05/15/12 On Saturday, May 12th around 2:40am, Sergeant Joe Deisch of the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan Road, north of 6C Road. It was found that the driver, David Martinez 19, of Indianapolis was operating the vehicle without a license. Martinez was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $250.00 cash bond, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on June 5th at 8:30am.

Then just a short time later on Saturday, May 12that 3:23am, Sergeant Joe Deisch conducted another traffic stop on Michigan Street just south of Webster Street. Driver, Jessica M. Schultz 25, of Mishawaka was operating the vehicle with a controlled substance. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in with a $3,000.00 cash bond. Schultz was later released on Monday, May 14th at 3:25am for no judicial review, but is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on May 29th at 8:30am.

On Saturday, May 12th at 4:59pm, Officer Derek Workman of the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Plum Street and Lake Avenue. It was found that the driver, James J. Corbett II 35, of Plymouth was operating the vehicle with a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of methamphetamines and paraphernalia. Corbett was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for the charges and was given a $1500.00 cash bond. Corbett is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 22nd at 8:30am.
