12/29/11 People passing the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson Streets in downtown Plymouth Wednesday afternoon may have noticed a difference. The Subway Sandwich Shop on the northeast corner of the intersection is gone. Lock stock and barrel, the place is empty including the wallpaper.
Customers to the store on Tuesday found a sign on the door as they entered the establishment noting the closure of the store. The note on the door states:
December 27th will be the last day for this location. We will be moving down to the old Movie Gallery building beside Little Creasers. We will resume business in March 2012.
The sign goes on to say: Thank you from all of us here at Subway. Hope to see you in our new and larger location.
