09/30/11 The Plymouth FFA Chapter is gearing up for another busy, but exciting year of activities. This year’s officer team consists of: Trent Pletcher, President. Julia Lipply, Vice President. Tucker Pletcher, Treasurer. Makayla DePoy, Secretary. Sarah Lindvall, Reporter. Makayla Fox, Sentinel. To kick off a new year, the officer team attended the 82nd Indiana State FFA Convention at Purdue University over the summer. Chapter President, Trent Pletcher competed for a district office and was named Parliamentarian. The chapter was recognized for their efforts in the National FFA Chapter Challenge.
Plymouth placed 2nd in Indiana and received $1500 through the National FFA Organization for their work in promoting agriculture through the Challenge Program. PHS FFA would like to thank all their supporters and sponsors for voting them into the Top 5 for Indiana! While attending convention, the team also worked on team development and planning for their upcoming year of service to their chapter.
