The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a single vehicle accident Monday evening, September 13th that damaged several gravestones in the Hindel Cemetery.
About 9:30 Marshall County Officers were dispatched to the area of Lincoln Highway and Iris Road in reference to a one vehicle accident. Officer McGuigan determined that the driver, Tyler Roahrig had left the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle, a 2016 Chevy Silverado traveled through a fence and ended up striking several gravestones causing severe damage.
No injuries were reported.
