Plymouth gymnasts third at Logansport
LOGANSPORT — PHS Gymnastics competed in the Logansport Invitational on Saturday. The invitational featured seven squads with full teams and three individuals, including Bremen’s Raven White.
Plymouth placed third overall with a total team score of 97.35. Logansport won the meet and Elkhart Central was second.
The best event for the Pilgrims was the beam, with Tessa Hutchinson placing 3rd with a score of 9.3 and Dorothy Karris 5th with a 9.2. Karris finished in 4th place in the all-around competition with a score of 33.8 for all four events.
Kyla Heckaman was still nursing an ankle injury and therefore only competed in one event, the bars.
Plymouth returns to Logansport on Tuesday, Feb. 18 for a meet that was postponed due to weather last Thursday.
