06/24/11 This Saturday shoppers at the Market are being encouraged to bring their own baskets or reusable shopping bags to discourage the use of plastic. Sr. Sue Rogers of Earthworks will have a supply of cloth bags to give away and Martin’s Supermarket is donating paper bags to vendors.

In keeping with the theme which will hopefully be an ongoing trend, Mike Good of the Recycle Depot (Marshall County Solid Waste District) will be on hand with information on what’s recyclable as well as rain barrels to reuse rain water. There will be a recycling activity for the youngsters as well

The Marshall County Church Orchestra will be on hand to entertain shoppers from 9 to 11.
