candlelight vigilA community candlelight vigil is planned in honor of the victims of Tuesday’s horrific crash on State Road 25 that killed 6 year old twin brothers Xzavier and Mason Ingle and their 9 year old sister Alivia Stahl and offer support to 11 year old Maverik Lowe who was transported to a Fort Wayne trauma center in serious condition.  The children were attempting to board their school bus about 7:15 in the morning when police say 24 year old Alyssa Shepherd is alleged to have crashed into them with her pickup truck.

The candlelight vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 1st at the Mentone Youth League at 107 West Jefferson Street.

The public is encouraged to come out to support the family and community members who are grieving.

Donations for the families will be collected during the vigil.

Two separate GoFundMe accounts have been set up. A GoFundMe account for the three siblings had raised over $86,000 in just over 24-hours.   The  GoFundMe account for Maverik Lowe has raised over $30,000.
