Miller's_Autumn Wislon Grad group july 2018Autumn Wilson of Culver has been a volunteer at Miller’s Assisted Living since the age of seven when her great-grandmother was a resident there.  Autumn came to visit Gr. Grandma Edythe Wilson with her mother Tracy and her younger sister, Makayla.  Through visiting great-grandma, the family got to know other residents and became regular volunteers.  Autumn and her sister have helped in many areas in activities.  They have gone on outings such as shopping and picnics. They have dressed in various fun costumes for Car shows, Halloween, Mardi Gras, and Holiday Open House.  They have conducted tea parties, given programs on topics of interest, and have given several musical concerts.

Autumn graduated with honors from Plymouth High School.  She was in the top ten of the Class of 2018.  She will attend St. Mary of The Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana where she will study Music Therapy.  Residents of Miller’s recently threw a small graduation party for Autumn and presented her with a beautiful, fleece blanket they made in Crafting Fun.  The residents will miss Autumn but are excited for her adventure into adulthood and will look forward to continued visits from Tracy and Makayla.
