Tuesday evening Plymouth High School honored the winter Scholar Athletes.
The December winners were Summer Smith, daughter of Cameron Smith and Autumn Smith. Summer is 53rd in her class. She played soccer and is currently on the swim team and will play softball in the spring. Summer is a member of the Nation Honor Society, Key Club, Multicultural Club and LEAD. Her future plans are to attend Purdue University to study Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Brock Witmer is the male December Scholar Athlete. He is the son of Phil and Tricia Witmer. Brock is 47th in his class. He was on the football team and will run track in the spring. Brock is a member of FFA. His plans are to attend Purdue University or Huntington University to study Agriculture.
The January female Scholar Athlete is Cortni Cook, the daughter of Kelli and Ron Cook. Cortni is 40th in her class. She is on the girls’ basketball team and will play tennis this spring. Cortni is a member of LEAD, Student Council and National Honor Society. Her future plans are to attend Ball State University to study Telecommunications.
Wyatt Howard, the January male Scholar Athlete is the son of Deanna Howard. Wyatt is 54 in his class. He was on the soccer team and will run track in the spring. Wyatt is a member of the Multicultural Club, Seed Club and Key Club. His future plans are to attend college to study Pre-Pharmacy.
The February female Scholar Athlete is Kristen Brown, the daughter of Bob and Gina Brown. Kristen is 16th in her class. She is on the soccer team and will run track in the spring. Kristen is a member of LEAD, Seed Club, Pep Club, Dance Marathon and Stage crew. Her future plans are to attend college to study Athletic Training.
Kadin McCrammer is the February Scholar Athlete. He is the son of Beth and Eric Mann. Kadin is 12th in his class. He is currently on the basketball team. Kadin is a member of Business Professionals of America, LEAD and Pep Club. His future plans are to attend Loyola University.
