Plymouth Color Logo2014Nine new residential single family homes were permitted in the City of Plymouth during 2016 along with 3 double wide mobile homes and 1 single-wide.

Monday evening Plymouth Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds presented members of the Board of Public Works and Safety with his year end report. The report also lists nine building permits for new commercial structures and 22 commercial renovation projects and 4 commercial additions.

A total of 217 permits were issued last year in the city including 33 for assessor buildings, 32 fences, 26 decks or porches, 11 residential additions, 24 residential renovations, 6 roofs and 3 swimming pools.

The Plymouth Building Inspector also issued 5 demolition permits and 2 for plumbing along with 27 sign permits.

The total estimated value of the 217 permits issued in 2016 is $41,840, 271.
