Plymouth Police were dispatched to 1311 West Jefferson Street Apartment 401 Saturday (6/11/16) morning about 3:15 for a domestic battery that was in progress.

 

Officer Paul Stamper, the investigating officer said the suspect had fled on foot just prior to the arrival of police units. He conducted an investigation with the victim and was able to determine a suspect. A few hours later the suspect returned to the apartment and was taken into custody.

 

Police arrested 26 year old Harley Blount of the Jefferson Street address for Domestic Battery in the presence of a child.

 

Mr. Blount was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
