2016 nominees for this year’s PHS Outstanding Teacher of the YearThe Plymouth High School National Honor Society recognizes an outstanding teacher for each of the four quarters of the school year.  At the end of the year, one of the teachers among those four is named the PHS National Honor Society Outstanding Teacher of the Year.

Nominees for this year’s PHS Outstanding Teacher of the Year included: John Barron – Health/Physical Education, Josh Martin – English, Lindsay Moore – Math (WSOI), Weidner School of Inquiry at PHS and Ryan Rust – Math

During the PHS National Honor Society Induction ceremony held Sunday at PHS on Sunday, Math facilitator of the Weidner School of Inquiry at PHS Lindsay Moore was named as the National Honor Society Outstanding Teacher of the Year.

Principal Jim Condon said, “Congratulations to Mr. Barron, Mr. Martin, Miss Moore, and Mr. Rust for being nominated for this year’s Outstanding Teacher Award. These individuals consistently demonstrate our mission of doing whatever it takes to promote the academic and social growth of our students. PHS is very proud to have each of these outstanding teachers as members of our instructional team.”
