DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College women’s basketball team was defeated by Kalamazoo Valley Community College Wednesday night, 86-45.

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) conference game saw one of the lowest offensive outputs of the Chargers season so far. Khadijah Moore put up 12 points. Hannah Stolte added seven and Teshylia Peters and Ashley Quezaire each had six. Bianca Maxwell pulled down seven rebounds and Moore grabbed five.

“We played one good quarter last night, which was the second,” said head coach Tom Robbins. “Our team chemistry and flow wasn’t where it needed to be. We have some players who have come back from being out the first half of the season and we are in a transition time right now. Despite that face, we played really wellMonday in our opener at Lake Michigan, but tonight the jump shot wasn’t going down and the rest of our game was lacking.”

Ancilla will play home this Saturday as they continue their conference play against Grand Rapids Community College. Game time is set for 1:00p.m. at Charger Arena.
