Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims stayed in it until the end, but Mishawaka Cavemen JV pulled away late in an 11-7 victory on Wednesday.  Mishawaka Cavemen JV was down 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Izaiah Bute doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims collected six hits and Mishawaka Cavemen JV had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims got things started in the first inning.  Michael Gibbons grounded out, scoring one run.

Troy Hayes took the win for Mishawaka Cavemen JV. The righty lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while walking one.

Malachi Sieh was on the hill for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righty allowed seven hits and six runs over four and a third innings, striking out eight.  Braxton White and Ryan Gadziola entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Brady Hoopingarner started the game for Mishawaka Cavemen JV. Hoopingarner went five and a third innings, allowing seven runs on six hits and striking out four

Nick Manzuk led Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims with two hits in four at bats.
