The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved two requests for St. Michael Church during their meeting Monday.

Parishioner Dan Flynn asked for permission to conduct a Holy Eucharistic Procession Walk on Sunday, June 11th.  He was seeking permission to walk from The Knights of Columbus to St. Michael Church on North Center Street.  The walk would begin about 8:30 in the morning and be completed before 10.

The route they want to use for the holy walk will be Berkley, Blair, and Polk Streets then over to Jefferson Street and Center Street.

The second request approved was for Parishioner Curt Feece.  He requested to close Center Street from Monroe to Madison Street on Saturday, April 8th from 6 p.m. to midnight.  The closure is to allow a firepit for the Easter Vigil Mass that starts at 9 Saturday night.  The church would also like to have barricades to block off the street.
