On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Deputy Blake Bennet with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested 43-year-old Anthony E. Fields of N 900 W in Culver for two active arrest warrants through Marshall County. Both warrants are for Contempt of Court on a civil change in Marshall Circuit Court. Anthony Fields was given two cash bonds by the Honorable Judge Palmer. One bond is for $110,000 and the second cash bond was set at $14,000.
Also on Thursday, December 29, 20-year-old Dakota A. Young of Dickman Street in Plymouth was booked into the Marshall County Jail for active arrest warrants, through Marshall County Superior I. The active arrest warrants are for the charges from a November 28th case where Young is alleged to have shot a female in the 800 block of West Adams Street at about 8 p.m.
On December 1st Dakota Young was located in Breathitt County, Kentucky by a Kentucky State Trooper and taken into custody. He was held until he could be extradited back to Marshall County.
Young was booked into the Marshall County Jail with charges of Aggravated Battery, Criminal Recklessness – Shooting a Firearm into an inhabited structure, two counts of Robbery, and Pointing a Firearm.
The cash bond for Dakota A. Young has been set at $100,000.
