Last week, members of the Marshall County Drainage Board officially recognized the end-of-year retirement of Barbara Neidlinger from the County Surveyor’s Office.

A resolution was read during the meeting detailing her tenure in county government.   Barb started in 1973 in the Auditor’s Office and worked there for 10 years.  After a couple of years off, she came back to the county in 1985 and started in the County Surveyor’s Office and remained there for 37 years, retiring on December 31, 2022.

Barb served the citizens of Marshall County for 47 years.

The resolution read, “Barbara Neidlinger, through her significant contributions to the Surveyor’s Office and the County, has earned the respect and admiration of Marshall County citizens.
