Plymouth High School students and staff recently held a Christmas Toy Drive for local elementary school-age children by collecting almost 300 toys. This student lead project was a huge success and the students had fun buying a variety of gifts for the children at Marshall Starke Development Center and each of the elementary schools.

The greatest joy was when the students had the opportunity to deliver the collected toys to the elementary schools in Plymouth. Santa Claus also made an appearance as Principal Jake Singleton and Asst. Principal Ken Olson both dressed up as Santa’s helpers. Because of the busy schedule of Rudolph and Santa’s reindeer, our PHS Santas drove small buses to each location with the PHS students.

Plymouth High School Staff is so proud of our students that worked hard to make this toy project such a success. These PHS students got to experience the importance of giving back to their community as they watched the excitement of these children opening their gifts.
