Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 Vice President, Officer John Weir accepted a check from Jan Fitterling, President of the Hoosier Old Wheels organization.

The FOP Lodge is getting ready for the annual radio auction on December 2nd on WTCA AM 1050 & FM 106.1.  Funds raised by the Shop With A Cop radio auction allow Plymouth FOP 195 the chance to take children from Marshall County shopping prior to Christmas.  The program also donates gift cards for food to seniors through Real Services and provides clothing and needed items to about a dozen clients of Marshall Starke Development Center who have no family support.

Local businesses and individuals are currently being asked to donate items to the auction.  Someone who is a crafter could donate a shelf, wall hanging, floral arrangement, holiday decoration, or just about anything.  Even those who might be cooks or bakers could donate a gift certificate for breakfast items, cookies, a specialty cake, or even a pan of lasagna, a pot of beef and noodles, or even a complete dining experience.  Maybe you are an outdoorsman and would donate a day of fishing or hunting.  The opportunities are endless.

The FOP is also asking industries and organizations to sponsor a child or two for the shopping event with a financial contribution.

WTCA will be releasing more information about the Shop With A Cop and Emergency Services Program in the next couple of weeks.
