MUAC women’s bowling named NJCAA Academic Team of the Year

DONALDSON — The Marian University’s Ancilla College Women’s Bowling team was named by the NJCAA as the Academic Team of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Women’s Bowling Team finished the year with an amazing 3.55 GPA which was tops in all of the NJCAA. Members of this high-achieving team are Katy Fordy (So – Lebanon, IN), Jasmine Huff (FR – Lakeville, IN), Erin Stacy (FR – Knox, IN), Kayley Thornburg (FR – Walkerton, IN), and Hope Walkowiak (FR – Cedar Lake, IN).
“All of us at Marian University’s Ancilla College are so proud of the Women’s Bowling Team for this outstanding achievement,” said Ancilla AD Brian Pearison. “This group of women embodies what it means to be a student-athlete and they have set the bar high for our future teams to aim for in their academic pursuits.”
