The Plymouth Community School Corporation will participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).  Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years and under and to persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.  Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all participants.  There is no discrimination in the course of the meal service. 

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information, (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotapes, American Sign Language), should contact the agency, state, or local, where they applied for benefits.  Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.  Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at How to File a Complaint, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.  To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. 

Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Monday, June 6th, and ending on July 15th.  All sites will be closed on July 4th.   In Plymouth lunch will be served from 11:30 to 12:30 at Plymouth High School from June 6th through July 15th.  Lunch will also be available at Webster Elementary School from June 6th to June 24th

The Plymouth Public Library will be serving a cold sack lunch of peanut butter and jelly or turkey sandwiches from June 6th to July 24th

Meals are intended for children 6 to 18 years old, children younger than 6 may attend, but menus are not always suitable for infants to 4-years of age.  Food must be consumed on-site.  Adult meals will be available for purchase, adults may not share a child’s free meal.
