The Business Development group of the Culver Crossroads is sponsoring a Business Social for all area businesspeople, and anyone interested in starting a business in the area.

Thursday, June 23 at the Culver Beach Lodge from 4 – 6 p.m. come meet area business and government leaders for food and refreshments. This is an opportunity to meet Alan Steele, Regional Director for the North Central Small Business Development Center.

Steele will be delivering several training sessions later this year in Culver on topics such as how to develop a business plan, effective marketing for local businesses, and where to find additional capital. In conjunction with these sessions, he will be available for one-on-one consultation with individuals.

Alan Steele has served as Regional Director of the North Central Indiana Small Business Development Center since 2014. He joined the organization as a Business Advisor in 2008 after holding senior-level business development and general management positions within both manufacturing and service-focused businesses. Alan is a graduate of the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics at Indiana University South Bend.

Make plans today to visit the Culver Beach Lodge on June 23 to meet the many volunteers from the Culver Crossroads and other area leaders and business professionals.

Culver Crossroads is a group of local individuals that are working together to develop several important aspects of Culver and improve the quality of life in the area. Much like the original Stellar committee and the current Marshall County Crossroads group, the group is comprised of leaders from across the community and reflects the many interests in the area. This group of volunteers is helping to develop a new comprehensive plan and will continue to listen and work towards reaching these goals.
