Barbara Batemen and Lilly Myers from the First United Church of Christ in Plymouth recently present a check to Cheryl Scarberry, Marshall County Habitat for Humanity’s Board Secretary and Chair of the Family Selection Committee.

The funds donated will assist in the cost of the construction of home #24. The home is being constructed at 718 Pearl St. Plymouth.

Scarberry said, “The donation could not have come at a better time with the recent inflationary building material costs.”

The family was selected in advance. They must meet the all the requirements, have a housing need, adequate income to make a mortgage payment and willing to build their home. It is expected the volunteers and family will complete the construction of the
home in late spring of 2022.
