On Friday, July 16th at approximately 12:30 in the morning while on patrol Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department located a vehicle stopped in the road at the intersection of West Harrison Street and North Center Street. The vehicle was running, and the driver’s door was open.

The Officer located the driver leaning out the driver’s door and vomiting in the roadway. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Skyler Edstrom of Plymouth.

After an investigation Mr. Edstrom was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and Illegal Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage.  He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
