LV gets win over Triton
BOURBON — LaVille traveled to Triton for a Hoosier North Athletic Conference game Monday.
The Lancers sent 14 batters to the plate in the first inning, while scoring 10 runs to open up the early lead.
Cambree Howe, Chloe Herbster, and Allison Medors came up big with two RBI hits to aid the cause.
Howe pitched a complete game for the win in the circle. She tossed five innings, allowing just one earned run, four strikeouts, four hits, and no walks. She also helped her own cause at the plate, going 2-for-4.
Medors and Quincy Blodgett led the 12-hit attack with three hits each. Blodgett also belted her first home run of the season on a 2-2 pitch in the third inning.
LaVille returns to Hoosier North Athletic Conference action Tuesday at home against North Judson-San Pierre. The game is scheduled for first pitch at 5:45 p.m. at the LaVille High School softball diamond.
