owi-arrestOn Thursday, February 25th at approximately 10:29 P.M. Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Michigan Street and US 30.
During the course of the traffic stop investigation 38 year old Christopher Vanduyne of Plymouth was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Operating While Intoxicated with bond set at $1,505.
He was released the next day after posting bond and received a Marshall County Superior II Court date of March 30th.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
