The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved the request of Vicki Brown from Dustin’s Place to use a portion of the city east side streets for a fundraising 5K this year.
Brown said this will be the 2nd annual run and they would like to use the same path as last year: Lincolnway East to Pennsylvania Avenue, up Liberty Street to LaPorte then down Kingston and back out to Dustin’s Place.
Two county reserve officers will assist with traffic control on Lincolnway East and volunteers with Dustin’s Place will assist with traffic control at intersections.
The fundraiser will consist of a 1-mile family fun run and a 5K run on Saturday, April 17th. Registration is $25 and underway at www.dustinsplace.org Participants should register by April 1st. For more information call 574-529-0528.
